Introducing the quotes page

June 14, 2012 — 6 Comments

Tucked neatly into the documents file of my word processor are pages upon pages of awesome quotes. I can’t recall exactly when I began compiling them, but it’s been years since I started and every time I run across a particularly inspiring thought it goes immediately into the collection.

Sometimes when I need a flash of inspiration or encouragement I’ll take a moment to read through a few pages and listen to the testimony of that great cloud of witnesses.

In fact, they’re so good I thought it only right to share them with the world. So if you’ll kindly direct your attention to the header above this article you will find a link to my quotes page. Click on it, or just click here, and you’ll find a list of authors arranged in alphabetical order. The list is relatively small right now but will grow over time. There’s even a cool picture included with each author! Eventually I plan to incorporate a short bio of each person as well, but for now, well, what can I say? I’m starting small.

What are a few of your favorite quotes? Maybe you could take a moment to share them in the comments section. If they’re good enough they may just end up on my page. :)

If this post was helpful to you, please share it with your friends.

  1. This looks great, Josh. Thanks for sharing the results of your gleanings over the years.

  2. These quotes are inspiring. The one by Chesterton about “the first day of a new creation” is exactly what I’ve been milling over the past while, and his quote has given me the vocabulary to explain what I’m thinking. Thanks Josh.

  3. Great idea, Josh! There is much inspiration here…
